Whitney Lane, Basecamp & Challenge Course Manager

Whitney Lane is the AMB West Challenge Course and AMB West Basecamp Manager for AMB West Philanthropies at The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation. In this role, she oversees these two programs based on Mountain Sky Guest Ranch property in Montana that were designed to support nonprofits in the region bolstering education and conservation.

Whitney joined AMB West Philanthropies as a shared associate with Mountain Sky Guest Ranch in the summer of 2015. She has a background in Education and Challenge Course technology, graduating from Northern Arizona University with a degree in Education, which has led her to a career in teambuilding and outdoor education. Prior to working at Mountain Sky Guest Ranch, Whitney worked for Bonsai Design, Inc., training zipline and challenge course facilitators in technical, social emotional, and educational skills involved in high ropes adventure.

In Whitney’s downtime you can find her playing outdoors and assisting others to do so. She is a climber, biker and snowboarder and loves to travel. She spends the winter on the snow, volunteering for Eagle Mount’s Adaptive Program, working for Bridger Bowl Snow Sports and sneaking away to visit the Southwest, where she used to call home.
