Keegan hails from metro Detroit, although he has spent a year in mainland China and Taiwan studying Mandarin. After completing law school at the University of Michigan, he was the lead attorney for the Social Security Disability department of the state’s largest personal injury law firm. Somehow, Keegan has resisted the siren call of Excel spreadsheets and perpetual road construction, and set his sights instead on the cell tower-scarce mountains of Montana, wherein he strongly looks forward to emulating the life of a Taoist sage (albeit with more line dancing).
