Getting to the Ranch
Feel the spirit of Montana … A flight into Bozeman, Montana, and a little over an hour’s ride over historic Bozeman Pass into spectacular Paradise Valley, brings you into a world all your own at Mountain Sky Guest Ranch. The drive from the airport to the ranch is the perfect way to shift gears into a different lifestyle.
Within minutes of receiving a personal Mountain Sky staff greeting and loading your luggage into our van, you’ll be heading into the mountains and passes that lead to Livingston. Your trip continues through Paradise Valley, which runs between two rugged mountain ranges with peaks over 10,000 feet. Before you know it, you will start to feel the spirit of Montana as you leave the cares of city life behind.
Off the main highway that cuts through the valley, you’ll begin your winding ascent along Big Creek to the ranch. As the mountains embrace you, you’ll realize the stresses of your everyday world are far, far away.
From the Bozeman Airport:
Upon exiting the airport, turn left onto the two lane highway. Travel approximately 8 miles to Bozeman and proceed onto I-90 traveling east to Livingston. Take exit 333, which is the route to Yellowstone Park via Highway 89 South. Travel approximately 31 miles, passing the tiny town of Emigrant 6 miles before reaching Big Creek Road. Turn right at the Mountain Sky sign, where you will also see the Dailey School House. If you pass the rest stop, you’ve gone too far. Turn right onto Big Creek and travel 4.5 miles (stay left at the “Y”) until you reach the ranch.
