Our three month positions will run June 3rd through August 26th. Our full guest season runs May 1st – mid-October. We have work available as early as mid-April, and as late as November.
Guest Services – The ultimate variety job! While rotating primarily through our dining room, housekeeping department and kids program on a shift-to-shift basis (with one dishwashing shift per week), our guest services crew also lead hikes, transport guests, work in the gift shop, etc. based on interest and skill set. 3 – 6 month positions available. June 3 to August 26 at minimum, with a start date as early as May 1 and an end date as late as October 31.
Guest Services with Teen Program Focus – This hybrid position combines work in Guest Services with oversight of our Teen Program. Will work directly with the Kids Program Director to engage and entertain our teen guests, ages 13+ with adventures including – but not limited to – photo scavenger hunts, trips to the Boiling River in Yellowstone, high adventure on our ropes course, evenings at our clay shooting range, and more! Must be 21 or older with a clean driving record to transport guests to various off-site activities in large passenger vans. Prior experience working with this age group and is preferred and those with experience climbing or a high ropes course is a plus. May 22 to August 26 at minimum, with a start date as early as April 1 and an end date as late as October 31.
Kids Program Manager & Assistant Manager – Responsible for managing guest services staff in providing our younger guests with the vacation experience of a lifetime. Must have a deep love of water balloons, fairy princesses, and battles with trolls and/or aliens. Serves as primary point of contact for parents, and is responsible for program development and oversight. Strong leadership skills and experience with young kids is important. Dining Room Manager – Responsible for managing guest services staff in serving guest and staff meals, communicating guest needs to the kitchen staff, and organizing and maintaining the guest and staff dining rooms. Applicant must have a passion for customer service, be detail-oriented, and demonstrate a willingness to provide staff with constant training throughout the season. Position runs April 16 – October 31.
Dining Room Assistant Manager – Assists the Dining Room Manager in all aspects of running our guest and staff dining rooms, as well as our outdoor ‘meal ride’ experiences. In the guest dining room, we serve a buffet-style breakfast and lunch, then offer a multi-course, casual fine dining experience for dinner. Key duties include staff training, management of Guest Services staff as they rotate in and out of the dining department, communicating guest needs to the kitchen staff, and organizing and maintaining the guest and staff dining rooms. While related experience is preferred, this is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for customer service to develop management skills. Position runs April 16 – October 31.
Housekeeping Assistant Manager – Assists the housekeeping manager with training, guiding and scheduling housekeeping personnel, upholding 4-diamond standards in a resort ranch environment, upkeep of laundry, inventory and ordering. Daily housekeeping duties required. Runs the department in the manager’s absence. Position runs April 16 – October 31, but will consider a later start date for the right candidate.
Office Assistant – Assists with most aspects of the front desk operation, including answering phone calls and emails, helping to coordinate guest activities, communicating special requests to the appropriate departments, processing payments, and other duties as needed. Technical Analyst – The position will serve as an experienced member of the technical support team and will provide all aspects of client support to meet the needs of our associates. This will include support and device management for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers & multifunction copiers, phones, and audio-visual systems. This person will be a primary contact for support at our Mountain Sky and West Creek properties and may also work with our support team to provide assistance for our other locations.
This position requires a high-energy individual who has a passion for this field of work and the ability to be a self-starter. It requires you to take initiative in planning, implementing, and troubleshooting the client support environment within the businesses. You will work with others in the team to ensure a secure computing environment across the enterprise. This position will work closely with the rest of our IT teams in Atlanta to assist with escalated issues and ensure standards are being followed in IT operations.
Must be able to carry a cell phone and respond quickly to occasional requests for critical assistance (24 x 7). Working select weekends will be required. Travel between our different Montana properties in Emigrant, Montana will be required. Occasional travel to our headquarters in Atlanta will be required (1-2 times per year).
Wrangler – The ideal wrangler candidate will demonstrate both excellent customer service and strong horsemanship skills. Wranglers will lead rides on 17,000 private acres, in addition to the neighboring Gallatin National Forest. Trail rides aren’t your typical nose-to-tail walking dude rides; Our guests stay for a week at a time, and they come to ride! We lead walk, trot, and lope rides, all with a heavy instruction component. A riding video will be required from applicants not able to join us for a live riding interview, but it is not necessary to submit the video with your initial application. 3 – 7 month positions available. May 15 to August 26 at minimum, with a start date as early as April 1 and an end date as late as October 31.
Ranch Hand – YEAR-ROUND POSITION. Candidate must have strong work ethic, self-motivated, detail oriented and willingness to work a varied work schedule based on time of year. Looking for someone mechanically inclined with experience working with livestock operations, knowledgeable with irrigation systems including hand line and wheel line, able to ride horseback in mountainous areas, and ability to successfully maneuver haying equipment including but not limited to tractor, baler, cutter, hay bine and hauler. Additional responsibilities include building, welding and repairing of fences, caring for livestock, monitoring grass/range health, maintenance of ATV’s, truck and ranch equipment.
Weed Sprayer – Main duties will include herbicide applications and other methods of vegetation management under the supervision of a certified applicator. Position will also perform various types of physical labor. Requires extensive chemical applications and the need to mix chemicals, spray with low and high volume equipment, and rinse and clean application devices.
Grounds & Maintenance – Responsible for the upkeep of grounds and facilities, occasional dishwashing, and the transportation of our guests in passenger vans. Must be 21 or older, have a clean driving record, and be comfortable with and able to operate heavy mowing equipment and other machinery. 3 – 6 month positions available. June 3 to August 26 at minimum, with a start date as early as April 16th and an end date as late as October 31.
Golf Groundskeeper – Will perform a diverse range of duties involved in golf course maintenance and construction, including semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work, on our 9 hole golf course. Must be available a minimum of June 1 – August 24.
Sous Chef – Assists the executive chef in all aspects of kitchen operations, including the preparation of hot and cold foods for banquet-style meals, receiving food orders, maintaining the highest in food and sanitation standards, and running the kitchen in the executive chef’s absence. Position runs April 16 – October 31.
Kitchen Staff: Cook – Responsible for the preparation of hot and cold foods for banquet-style meals, receiving of food orders, and maintaining the highest in food and sanitation standards. 4 – 6 month positions available. June 3 to August 26 at minimum, with a start date as early as May 1 and an end date as late as October 31.
Kitchen Staff: Prep Cook – Responsible for the preparation of ingredients for our kitchen staff, with tremendous opportunity for growth under an executive chef who fosters an environment of teamwork and learning. 3 – 6 month positions available.
